If AP is still in charge and I doubt it I would play Speroni in goal the players need a keeper they trust who can talk to them. DD plays to double up with Fryers. Ledley to add a physical presence to the midfield. AT looks like he is not willing to play for AP drop him. The players may not want to play for AP but lets give them the we love you song from the kick off not glad all over.

We lack the quality in certain depts but you're right. There can be no excuse for letting that many in.

No doubt in my mind that we lack any form of on pitch leadership and the only player who seems to offer that is Delaney who is on a sulk with AP. However, if I thought for one moment that the players were deliberately defending poorly to get AP out the door (a la Chelsea with Mourinho last season) I'd be on the pitch and rip my ST up in their faces. There is only one remedy, we all know it and that's to dismiss the manager. I really can't see him coming back from this. Should of been done already IMO.

It's difficult to predict just what these changes will be. We haven't got enough quality in the squad to change much. Ultimately, it's the football way of the world....you can't sack an entire squad but you can sack the man that assembled it. It's looking like he has one last chance with the Saints game, but I think that's just delaying the inevitable.
