I understand that he has a good scoring record against Nottm Forest and as of a few months ago had scored 7 in his last 7 games against them.

Ok let's ask if we can play Forest every week then...

Gestede rumoured to be off to WBA. The problem that we will now have in this window is that we are relegation contenders so it's going to be a lot more difficult to attract the better players.

Loans may not be so much of a problem, depending on what they're looking to get out of it. Ain't that the truth? Loans may not be so much of a problem, depending on what they're looking to get out of it. I can't help thinking that Gestede was never going to be a 'better' player anyway so no great loss. However, I would agree that based on previous January windows we are likely to end up with 'end of career, nowhere else to go' players.

If they are looking to get regular gametime due to lack at another club then they good do well. Even quality players returnning from injury can be beneficial, Robert Huth for Leicester springs too mind. In fact Leicester is a good example of a club turning a defence in Jan under Pearson. If they are looking to get regular gametime due to lack at another club then they good do well. Even quality players returnning from injury can be beneficial, Robert Huth for Leicester springs too mind. In fact Leicester is a good example of a club turning a defence in Jan under Pearson.

Even if Gestede is half the player Benteke is, I'd happily take half of Benteke's goals from Gestede. I'm sure he'd be less than half the price. Even if Gestede is half the player Benteke is, I'd happily take half of Benteke's goals from Gestede. I'm sure he'd be less than half the price.

Thinking about Campbell being only only striker if Benteke gets a knock down makes me mental.
