Agree with pete the eagle. In fact go far as to say, West Ham had a good season last, in my view left overs from Big Sam. This year not so good with Mr Bilic. Got a good feeling about this appointment, loads of points to be proved by the Manager and some under performing players. I think we do need to look at back room staff too. Some of them, if not all need to be reviewed. Think Millen needs some roll, not assistant though, always stood into the breach very well.

As acknowledged either in this or another thread, I accept some of that is down to the type of club he has managed. Then again you have to ask why that is the case. Hodgson was successful at both Fulham and WBA, taking Fulham to a UEFA cup final in 2010. I would argue for all the ignominy of the Iceland defeat, Hodgson was more successful for England than Allardyce even though the latter has a 100% record. Plus as I said earlier and it's something you and seemingly a lot of fans are happy to ignore, my biggest concern is that there is still the threat of FA disciplinary action over him, which if it does happen, is a distraction we can do without

Are you saying he may be banned from managering in the PL by the FA? It's very vague and I'm unable to grasp what you are referring to by threat of action still hanging over him?

Mentioned here, it is well known that the FA are unable to act until after the police investigation. As far as Allardyce goes, he may not face any further action and if he does I have no idea what the sanction will be. Or for that matter when. At the risk of repeating myself, my concern is twofold, he has a whiff of dodgy dealings about him and given our current predicament we can do without any off the pitch distractions. Anyway, whether I am happy about it or nor, he is our manager now, as with all the others he will get my support Edited by Y Ddraig Goch (27 Dec 2016 9.31am)
