It doesn't matter what team palace put out, we could even strike it rich with Arab money soon, field a Barca type 11 and still fall to arsenal. They've always been our bogey team.

Can only see arsenal scoring more . always said we may as well write this game off I feel and concentrate on winnable games coming up against Swansea and west ham

Puncheon has been utterly awful so far. Every time there is even a sniff of a chance of a counter attack for us he puts his foot on the ball turns around and passes back to our CBs. Townsend has been going mental at him for never passing it forward.

Would love to know why Punch is playing on the right hand side of the central 2. Every time he gets the ball he's running in circles to get on his left foot !

Townsend comes across as Arrogant. The whole 'I want to play on the right....' comments... As much as Wilf moans, as much as Kelly likely hates playing as left back, Joel too, they all get on with it, and over a longer period of time too. Townsend, new club, moaning straight away. He'll get his wish now cos wilf will go away on Int duty, but in a few weeks time if he hasn't set the world alight, he'll have to get used to the left wing im sure. Unless we get a LW in...

I'm also very disappointed with Townsend. I thought he would bring more to the table. Wild is more effective on the right and we just seem so disjointed. Tomkins and Dann hopefully will knit together in time. Although even when he was fit , Tomkins didn't fill me with confidence
