I do agree he is past it age wise but I think his presence round the club could be an asset maybe a coaching role?

Experience and winning mentality are definitely things missing at the moment. He would bring both. Is he too old? Probably. Could he still do a job - I suppose that would be down to the coaching staff to decide. But the strength of the rumour appears to be he is based in Surrey and so we're close. That's it.
