Realistically, we cannot afford to put so much resource into one £30m player earning about £0.5m a month when reinforcing the team is an absolute priority. Some people are really strange - we are in a dogfight so sell our only striker! I hope Remy does come good but he has not played a lot of football in 2/3 years so looks unlikely. This is simply BFS trying to get some more money out of the yanks. Sign a f.....g left back!

If Benteke has to be sacrificed as an unaffordable luxury so be it. Under the financial fair play rules our stadium capacity will severely restrict how much we can invest in wages or transfer fees. But it would be typical Palace to sign a right back and no left back !

Smaller, pacey, natural finisher etc. To answer your question though, I'd expect the guy playing 90 minutes week in week out to outscore the guy getting the odd start here and there, plus 7 minutes at the end of most games. 'Goals per minute' is what I said. And THAT, i still believe, would be close. But as I said, back to Benteke. He's better than them both.
