Townsend may as well go back then he can help Gayle, (you remember him? didn't fit in with Pardews Plans. Scores most weeks for N/castle.) score even more goals. He's probably one of the best crossers in the league but spends more time on the bench. Pity he can't be used along with Benteke ( I don't rate him worth the money paid) Oh well, lets drop to Ch/ship and maybe win some games. Could do with something to cheer about. Or Start supporting Spurs.

Nor the other previous 4 Palace managers I have to say that all the Newcastle strikers seem to score goals every game they play. If you look at their records of goals per game its really impressive. Gayle is injured at the moment and the guy playing in his place has scored 4 goals in 4 games, Mitrovic has also scored something like 8 goals in 12 games. They must be getting fantastic service. Gayle will score goals where ever he goes but if he still has the same attitude he had a Palace it wont be long before he is sitting on the bench.
