We need a better urgency at taking shots. We were very pedestrian too often.

Both are games I feel more confident about after Saturday. We defended well all game and really lost because we were down to ten men and schlup was unfortunate to go down off the pitch. Everton exploit that, somewhat cynically. If we can defend like that against Sunderland and Bournemouth, both who have been poor in defence, we could take six points which would bring confidence and self assurance. The target now has to be hitting 38 points.

I honestly think that when we fix the defense the rest will follow - whether it is going to be too late or not I have no idea.
Whilst we did not particularly deserve much from Saturday it was a better performance - in my opinion anyway - and Schlupp looked good as did Remy.
We need more ideas and we need to mark tighter - that is one of our single biggest problems which I am sure they will sort out.
We allowed Barclay to run the game and my criticism of BFS and his team is that they allowed this to continue for the whole 90 minutes which I found very worrying indeed.

My thoughts too. If the midfield/attack have to worry less about what's going on behind them then it should give them more confidence to get forward.
