Fact is, a question was asked and you have to be realistic.
You never give up until it's mathematically impossible - I've said that elsewhere - but I think we're at a stage now where we're hoping for other results going our way. Especially given our run-in.

Not about us giving up hope. If the team have, and it looks like they have. Then what f*** can we do about it? Nish.

I agree. It's what I think I inferred in a previous post.
We can do nothing about. We never could. Our only hope is that Allardyce gets his views through to the ones that can do something about it.

I think that even if we survive this season - scrap in 17th maybe - that we will see several first team players - apart from Wilf - wanting out in the summer.
Regardless of division a 'rebuild' will be necessary,

You'd hope so. We need to clear the decks and rebuild a team again.

Agree mate. Two bob bunch of w*nkers. Would expect that most that are saying that it's 'all over', have achieved f*ck all in life. Expecting the players to try and get some results yet they are resigned to relegation with so many points to play for.
Would expect that if they are given six months to live , they would be found dead the next day.
Weak as f**k, 2 bob s*** bags, that deserve what they get in life. Hopefully f**k all.
Aaaaaaaand relax.

Correct me if i am wrong here Casual but i take it you disagree then.

There are some positives to consider.

If the players cannot do the business with Sam's help, they are confessing to being useless. A realisation of that fact could produce the points we need.

From memory we have seven players out on loan, and have been shopping for older teenagers. If we go down and go for a re-build - losing all players over 30 and (thankfully) those who do not wish to commit to Palace - we can play a young team (with a couple of senior players).

There is the hope that (Dele Ali is only 20) that our developing young men will be discounted by the booking and we can all get 5000 to 1 for automatic promotion.

Wilf was always going regardless of what division we're in.
A summer transfer request told us that.

He didn't submit a transfer request.

It's hilarious this romantic notion a lot of fans have that if we go down we'll suddenly have loads of players who 'care' about the club and the passion for the shirt will be back.

People have short memories. Most of my time watching Palace it has been watching bang average players try to hoof the ball upfield to a terrible 32 year old striker who gets about 6 a season in the Champ.

Lower quality does not equal more effort, it usually just means lower quality.

Would be the first season in 6 or so with no Wilf or Bolasie which will be painful

Anyway, we have a great chance of staying up so lets hope we take it!
