I have it on good authority that's it's been the number one goal to replace him since he got in. And they've tried hard enough every season (except this one because of the Sakho deal) to do just that. Mandanda should have worked but injury, outside factors and then Big Sam saw that one scuppered. A big mistake as he is proving again with his form for Marsellie.
McCarthy was unfairly treated by that plank Pardew. He showed much better reflexes, command of his area and general ability than Super Wayne. He was sidelined because he slipped. Not very fair at all. Fact is he's there by grace of god. Not because of his ability. Anyone who thinks he's there because he's been anywhere near good needs sectioning.

I've been an supporter of Hennessey and some of the criticism for me is unnecessary but yesterday he was poor. Should of done better on 3 of the goals. I personally don't think Speroni much better at his age but prepared to give him a go. Although our problems lies deeper than just changing a goal keeper. The negative mindset that many players have is destroying us. Yes the squad depth is apparent to see but the lack of leaders in our side. When the going gets tough where are the leaders. Jedinak didn't die for this club, to let Steve parish run the club on a chance for too many years. The players he's bought in are cowards and spineless pricks.

I would hardly say that his performances are what you could describe as committed either. He's never once been clattered or put himself on the line for us. Not once. He's too scared.

are you sure about that? 1st and 4th were saveable by a competent premier league keeper.....which he is not!

he did make one mistake where he parried the ball inti sterlings path but luckily we got away with that one.
