There are some pretty strong rumours around that Zaha was a Parish signing, irrespective of who was supposedly managing the team at the time.

I think it's fairly clear Pardew had little to do with bring Wilf back.

All games where we dropped points due to the inferior fitness, subs and game management as a result of Pardew's decisions, tactics.

He did a lot of good in his time, and our attack was good but naive in so many ways.

Craig Pawson and his assistant had a significant helping hand in the result, but I certainly agree that, at 1-1 and with only a few minutes left, Pardew's tactics and management lost us the game.

That was his worst game in terms of substitutions if memory serves me right. Pardew couldn't decide if he wanted to go for the win or for the draw. He brought on Fryers as a defensive move then took off a midfielder to go from 4-5-1 to 4-4-2; ends up with Cabaye getting rolled by Pogba and Pogba's got acres of space to set up the winner.

Yep. He was always stuck in trying to make up for last week's howler, and the week before, and the week before that. Instead of accepting the trickle of points he made this mistake. Probably because he doubted himself. Correct on that.

Oh and he had to take these players off because of the lack of fitness and cover. Selling Jedinak and getting in an unavailable Flamini rather than saying 'Look Steve, we need to replace Jedi properly. There's this player in Europe I've had my eye on for a while. We'll be £5mil worse off net but he's the dogs.' Nah, just go for an almost Harry Redknapp type of loan or signing who as it turns out gas hardly been available anyway.

Really don't see where Pardew is coming from with this overly loyal stuff.

Was he loyal to Jedinak or Murray?

I don't think so, he couldn't wait to get them out of the club and they were both massive contributor's, unlike the dross he brought in.

I'd love to know who he thinks he was too loyal to and the thought of him signing even more new faces sends a shudder down the spine.

The fitness thing is laughable, we could all see what was going on and now he's simply trying to dig himself out of the hole he buried himself in.

I wouldn't even credit Pardew with the signing of Pape Souare as Warnock had instigated a bid for Pape a week before he was sacked.

I don't think that Pardew is the only one rewriting history to suit himself as you have obviously forgotten that far from being a "massive contributor" Jedinak was away playing for Australia for a few weeks when Pardew took over and our steady climb out of the relegation zone and up the table started.

Murray was also a peripheral figure by that time and it was good business to sell someone who wasn't really Premiership quality as Bournemouth who bought him were soon to find out

He said things that boil down to deflection: lack of the right players? It was the club's fault too. Lack of fitness: i shouldn't have listened to those pesky medical types who MADE me make them unfit. Slow on upgrades: my great virtue of loyalty cost me but I'll be ruthless next time

Bottom line, he is showing prospective employers he's still got fight in him and also pointing out that he does have a track record of giving clubs a jump start.

Get job, try to keep it next time.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

That made me laugh. Maybe it's time to get back on the tools Alan!!

What makes it a bit of a surprise, even though the Geordies said what would happen, is that when we played Newcastle at home in the winter of 2013 they IMO were the most organised team to visit us. Honestly Newcastle did a thoroughly professional job on us and all our players individually. Very impressive from them. They won 3-0. We didn't get a sniff and lost every personal battle.

Yohan cabaye ran the show that day. I can't remember yc putting in a match winning display like that for us.

He blames transfer dealings after saying in an interview when he was being touted for England that "why would he want to leave when he had full autonomy over transfer dealings". Well Alan isn't that admitting that you're no good in the transfer market. Poor player, poor manager.
