This sounds familiar. No left back, all the defenders going for the ball not picking up runners or marking. Set pieces awful. Tackles go straight back the opposition. Team looks knackered. Can't pass for toffee. Is Pardew back?

Decent first half, dodgy after half time and the last quarter of an hour absolutely s***e. Bakary Sako not up to snuff, should have replaced Cabaye with Lee or Flamini. Two very poor goals to lose it in the end - defending just like in the Pardew days. Bollocking required.

Well at least some results seem to have gone for us tonight, with Swansea, West Ham and Bournemouth (so far) losing. Arsenal result tonight doesn't look promising though.

bit of overreaction here, we played some very nice attacking football first half but that disappeared second half. It's not too surprising that the back line got increasingly worse as the night went on. Sam tried to fix it by going to a back 3 but unfortunately the lack of Cabaye in the midfield to sit and hold with Luka really made us look poor. Could really do with Tomkins, Cabaye and McArthur being back for Arsenal or we could be in real trouble.
