Where was our defensive 'Shield' in front of our central defenders ? He had far too much space and we have seen before that he can score from distance.Maybe fatigue played a part. I was only talking to someone the other day about Eriksen and we were discussing the fact that it is felt that he is a genuine 'No 10' who finds space in the 'Hole' and is dangerous from this position and my word he proved this.

Where was our defensive 'Shield' in front of our central defenders ? He had far too much space and we have seen before that he can score from distance.Maybe fatigue played a part.

Yep, totally agree. Every opposition manager in the PL must brief his team to strike the ball from distance as our keeper is poor. And then the injury occurred and suddenly it was title chasers v bottom feeders. It wasn't even down to the the change in personnel as dammers did nothing wrong. It seemed that the spirit of the team instantly crumbled. As for that goal, I don't blame the defence. They almost invite them in order to take back possession. Who knew it would be one of the handful of good ones? That's not to say it shouldn't have been saved.
