The commentators even mentioned Oldham late in the match but even that couldn't stop Big Sam's Red 'n Blue Army. All boxes checked in this one. I was worried when Big Sam said he wanted them to play not to lose but he got the tactics spot on. Damn my diabetes, I'm having a few pints today.

The damage to Hull was last week. If we had lost the damage would have been against Burnley. Let's try again next season to establish a foothold in this pesky league.

Just goes to show how tight this league is outside the top 6, Everton have done well to stay in touching distance but there are 7 points between 17th and 8th with only 1 or 2 games left, in reality anyone of those teams could've been in real danger with a few games to play.
