Surely Parish would need to consult with the Yanks about money available for transfers etc?!(if that was the issue) Learning from the Tony Pubeless debacle, wouldn't there have been some sort of clause in Sam's contract. Still holding hope that this is bo***cks as it's happened so quickly!
