I'm afraid there's nothing in that that convinces me of anything that I didn't already know. That reporter doesn't know much about us if he thinks we play 4-4-2. It's a formation that has it's place at certain times in certain games, but as most teams have five in midfield, it allows you to become overrun. We know he's got a good home record, but he couldn't seem to address the problems away from home, only beating an awful Palace side last season. I hope that he's not the front-runner because he's dangling the Heaton carrot, because there's no guarantee he'd even leave Burnley. The most telling think about that article was the poll underneath it where, having read it, 93% voted Pellegrino.

The most interesting part of the article was that Dyche has autonomy on footballing matters including transfers as long as he works within his pre-set budget.

I'm not sure how he would adapt to working under a chairman who likes much more of an involvement in who we buy and sell.
