How do you know that that it's "spouters of nothing" if you've never been on NSC? Actually there are a bunch of Palace who are on there all the time and you get some reasonable debates going. I go on every other club's forum in the days leading-up to playing them but I go on NSC once a week to see what they are saying about us. The best posts on there at the moment are the one's where they're desperately trying to find something positive to say about the stream of low budget signings they're making from relegated Bundesliga teams and injured Gent players. They were talking about the likes of Loftus-Cheek a week ago. I'm almost beginning to feel sorry for them. Bloom's wallet seems to have slammed shut.

As far as I am aware their only pre-season signings are keeper Ryan from Valencia (£6 Mill ?), right-back Suttner from Ingolstadt and midfielder Gross from the same club (£3 Mill ?)

A mate of mine that's a Liverpool fan and season ticket holder at Brighton (doesn't narrow it down) told me a few weeks ago that Tony Bloom has an unlimited pot of money. Yet he won't donate any to transfers it seems. Odd, almost like they don't want to stay up. Or they want to take some kind of moral high ground around FFP, something they've whinged about other clubs breaching for a while now.

Well I guess teams have survived in the past with a Championship squad and a few cheap (but not very good) signings. Can think of one off the top of my head right away.....
