Is this a thing? An attempt to give the 'progressives' their latest social engineering hard on?

Next up it's trans James Bond drinking socially responsible coffee.

Since the Doctor has always been a man it is a bit odd in terms of logic for him to become a woman but if you excuse away that statistical inconsistency then it would be OK as long as they didn't make it into a crusade.

The BBC is on a mission to indoctrinate us with messages about equality which is fine as long as it remains representative of reality and consistent.
I suspect however that 'equality' often means a misrepresention of reality.

Should'nt the Doctor regenerate 9 times and die?

Have not cared since the days of Tom Baker.

I seriously hope not! Be so pathetic if it is and I won't bother watching.

Didn't really like Capaldi tho so hope whoever is next is better.

I couldn't agree more. While that last sentence should be stapled onto the heads of all its writers and producers.

True....He was the high water mark.

He had that other worldly air about him which it needed.

Now we get the Doctor 'romantically' involved with assistants and everything.

Not for me.

I believe it was 12 times, so Capaldi should have been the last.

I suppose that they just hope that no-one will remember.

To be fair the only logical female Dr Who is Angela Dixon ... Watch her in 'Never Give Up' and you'll know what I'm talking about! This would give Dr W a real kick up the arse, a kick boxing super athlete who can actually act.
