Only if it's a dark beer or porter/stout. Your run of the mill beer should always be served around 40 degrees, this gives you your fizz/carbonation.

Those opinions all come from the USA, who produce some of the worst beers I have ever tasted. Whilst storing beers too warm will certainly spoil their flavour, serving them cold doesn't allow the flavour profile to develop on your taste buds. Which doesn't matter too much in the USA where the beers don't have a lot to start with and the coldness and carbonation can be used as a disguise.

I am talking about British ales. Which is something of a specialist area for me. The President of CAMRA was a member of a society of which I was the national President for 2 years. I travelled all over the world advising drink companies on this subject.

British ales should be drunk at normal room temperature. They are not intended to have a high level of carbonation. Many are best appreciated without any kind of head and in my youth barmen would scape any that formed off the top to ensure you got a full pint, and not 3/4 and a pile of froth.

Have you tried Nigerian guiness. 7.5% ABV omg what a drink and best served chilled. Bit pricey but well worth a try. 5 for 3 bottles. Not available everywhere but highly recommended.
Just my tuppence and nothing to do with trump

Apparently you can't be a Brexit supporter and drink Stella.

Yet I'm a genetic northern European, which the English will mostly be. I'm not against Europe, I'm against what the EU turned into.

While I use to be more patriotic, now I'm more pan European....however that doesn't mean I support huge centralised woke power systems influenced by corporates and elites.

I believe in less centralised power with control of people's lives being more localised, where they get left alone.

The proof of the eu's or want for more power was clearly shown by Cameron threatening them with the people choosing to be in or out. Then actually doing it. Whether parliament should have stopped it is by the by. That one vote and the push through of sticking to the result the people chose, clearly shows how the EU are thought of. A few other countries haven't gone to a vote yet but within a few years they might. Atm the EU have a chunk of bribery to give out and I reckon only covid stopped others pushing the button to leave.
Love Europe, don't like the EU, they arnt or shouldn't be in the same game but they are!

I'll try and remember that next time the subject comes up. The point really was that the traditional beer of the British is ale, and not lager, which is fine when consumed in most European settings, but awful when served up at home. Because it's a poor imitation of real lager and served too cold to deliver any kind of genuine flavour profile. Drinking it from a can just makes things worse. True Brits drink real ale at room temperature.

Which is a mile away from what we ought to be considering. Which is the Congress investigation into the Jan 6th riot and who knew what and when. I have little doubt Trump will continue to pressurise people to refuse to co-operate and hide behind "executive privilege" and the "5th", as he has done so far, to delay and obfuscate. It's his style, along with establishing plausible deniability. The important thing though is to ensure this is all kept alive in the minds of the US electorate and not to allow the passage of time to whitewash him.

What a joke....People are suffering under the Democrats with rising inflation and lower living standards....all predicted I might add and WE wants them to think about January 6th....where the Democrats keep Grannies in solitary confinement and the only whitewash was them sanctioning the murder of a woman by someone who clearly shouldn't be allowed a firearm.

It was also noted that when it's a black man in security killing a white person then suddenly race isn't an issue to the Democrats.

All while they had spent the previous 18 months releasing criminals back onto city streets to riot and loot and supporting 'defund the Police' messages......Yet that all changed once they gained power.

I can't stand the basic dishonesty of these people.....Republicans also play low and that deserves criticism but they aren't a patch on these people....who will lie to your face while claiming virtue.

Dishonesty! OMG. Those who want to witness some only need to read the above distortion!

Jan 6th was an attack that transcended normal politics.

It was an attack on democracy itself. An attempt to overturn the result of a legitimate election with demonstrably false claims.

To suggest that the current administration's efforts to cope with the aftermath of the disastrous previous one, and a pandemic, should take centre stage above the corruption of the previous one is farcical.

It's vital that the US public get to know the truth, so they can make sure it never happens again. If they don't the whole future of western democracy is under threat.

Karma indeed.

The suffering they have put the law abiding through in pursuit of their political games is unforgiveable.

That's a typical Mail piece which has led you right into what they want you to believe, rather than what actually happened.

That they argue for police reform doesn't mean they don't support the Police! They want to ensure they do things better, not that they don't do things. The fact that they were the victim of crime supports their argument.

Interesting stat the NYPD employs around 3 times the number of police officers as the LAPD. I guess you get what you pay for.
