FdB wants us to play without posing an attacking threat and plating up goals for the opposition at the back and Steve Parish has no desire to spend any money whatsoever, Sakho doesn't fit these mentalities
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

If report is accurate,then all very worrying although still early days for Frank to build his ideal squad. Do need some new signings this window and hopefully something will happen very soon and before the Swansea game.

Our defence proved yesterday we can cope without Sakho. I'd rather we focus on the positions we actually need, GK, RWB, Striker etc...

According to the Liverpool website Sakho "can play both centrally and at left back - posseses outstanding pace and aerial power and is extremely comfortable with carrying the ball out to prompt attacks" in other words the perfect man to have at the centre or left side of a 3 man defence. He will be a Palace player by the end of the week surely even if it's just another loan deal.

I don't think it's simply a case of his doest rate hon or wouldn't suit what he has planned. If you hear the townsend rumours it is simple. We do not have the money.
