Because brain of Britain we have had one shot on target in two games, no goals and are trying to play possession football with players lacking the quality to string more then 3 passes together and who have been playing counter attacking football for however long. This results in unnecessary and panicked passing at the back, alongside a confusion of formation, which plates up chances that teams with more quality than Huddersfield will score for fun off of.

I do not read the Daily Mail you halfwit I based my argument on the fact we have spent less than a lot of Championship clubs this season and on a supposed CB who cannot defend or get a start in the Dutch league. Also, as I'm guessing you do not, I actually go to our games and have painfully witnessed this first hand.

Unless you are in fact Jonas Gutierrez I would stick to comic books spiderman.

Thanks for the insults. I am not brain of Britain, nor am I a superhero but I have been watching Palace for over 50 years and am a Season ticket holder and therefore feel I am entitled to my opinion without being insulted. We were, by the way, the highest spenders in January.
Talking of half wits, Puncheon had a shot saved on Saturday, Benteke had a header saved against Huddersfield and Wilf's shot was saved although ref gave a corner, that my dear half wit is 3 not 1. Also how many chances did we create and not take? don't blame FDB for players missing chances. Perhaps you should stick to reading comic books.

Classic example of weak points backed up by insults. Where's your season ticket then 'fan of the year'?

Saw all of them. All great servants of the club (possibly not so Warhurst) but to say they were better than Sakho is laughable.

Agreed. Sakho is a france regular and ex PSG regular and captain. Not to mention a regular for years at Liverpool. I've never seen one man have such an effect on a football team in my life, like what he had for us last season. It was nothing short of astonishing.

18 shots, 5 on target across the two games - not brilliant but a long way from your comment.

IF we truly have a team of players that cannot string 3 passes together then we have one made up of players that should be in League 2. These are highly paid professionals who should be able to adapt to any game plan (within reason).

The only way they'll get better at it is to both practice it in training and do it in games - if not, we stand still (which is the same as going backwards in the EPL) and end up in a relegation scrap yet again anyway. The same has happened to other mid-table clubs over the years but it seems to get harder & more expensive to bridge that gap every year - especially as all those clubs improve their squad most windows.

I fully expect this change to take at least three seasons with each being a little less fraught than the last - there is no instant fix in this league without a ludicrous amount of money & a way around FFP.

Many seem to think we'd solved the situation under Sam as we stayed up but the results don't really underline that. We had those 3 amazing wins against Chelski, the Arse & the bin-dippers but we didn't really do it in many of the games we should have - Sunderland, Stoke, Burnley, Saints & even the Manure youth team.

We need to change/evolve or we end up going down anyway as all the counter-punchers seem to.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

By the way, do you and Percy live with Gordon, Edward, Thomas and Toby or do you also get diesels in Peckham?

Percy forgot his password so he's now permanently in limbo. Gordon, Edward, Thomas and Toby are kept in reserve should Henry lose his. We don't get a lot of diesel action around here.

I Hope you also know he may not be able to play until Xmas or January?
