Fair play to our chairman for going on HOL radio, other supporters would love a chairman that done this. I'm still optimistic, after 10 games in our first season we had 3 points, and NINE losses. We finished 11th.

You can perhaps say he has been a victim of his own success. I applaud him for the "5 year plan" and essentially I think the fast tracking of this probably caught even the most optimistic by surprise. The problem that has lead to, in my opinion, is a lack of ideas. He has rightly done all he can to preserve our PL status up until now but whilst we have no right to nailed on safety, there comes a point where we have to start looking beyond splashing the budget in desperation for survival in January, just for the sake of scraping our way to survival. As I've said many times before, eventually your luck runs out as we've seen many times recently in the PL with Newcastle, Sunderland & Villa - 3 teams who by all accounts are more established with a better infrastructure than us.

The problem for me is that I find it extremely difficult to feel any sympathy for any chairman who sacks a manager charged with (rightly in my opinion) changing the style of play and then sacking him after 4 games, regardless of the speculation of excuses or "other factors". It's about time the club start taking responsibility because it's seems to be a reoccurring theme and it appears the mistakes we make every year are not being learnt from. It's all well and good telling the fans to blindly worship the hierarchy, but I think the few years premier league survival, whilst being fantastic, has given us a false sense of security and has lead many to believe we've progressed far greater as a club than we actually have in reality.

We have only named 24 players.

Kaikai isn't in the 24 because he's under 21.

Parish has given the club and fans 5 years in the PL. No chairman or owner has ever done that. I agree there are too many lightweight 'supporters' who scream and shout about anything that doesn't go their own way for short term gratification.

Well done SP, keep it going and ignore the temporary 'fans' the club has unfortunately picked up during the last 5 years.
