Parish just bashed the supporters, his the one made the errors at the club not me. Sorry sofa fan.

With respect, I don't believe he was being critical of supporters.

In my humble opinion he was just pointing out that with our club in the rarefied atmosphere of the PL, this is a far cry from some of the dark days of the past.Perhaps he was just trying to inject some positivity where negativity prevails at the current time.

Sometimes messages can be open to mis-interpretation.

There is a sense of entitlement though.
It's only/we should beat Huddersfield, Swansea, Burnley is a constant refrain. People forget they are thinking the same, "It's only/we should beat Palace".
No gimmes in this league, unless you play us.

We don't expect to beat all of them. Just one of them would be nice and that is the point. Or just a draw against 1 of them.

Thankfully i'm not as old as you Willo, but i remember traveling with my dad and bro to watch palace with Shefi Kuqi up front, Paddy Mac at the back in front of 13k crowds. Loved it then, love it now, only difference is we've picked up 13000 c***s who think we have a right to be in the premiership. They will be brighton fans very soon no doubt.

I see that you are suffering from the I'm a better supporter than you syndrome

FFS Dan give it a rest.
You go on and on about signing players now your moaning about we overpaid.
We are trying to stay in the Top 20 teams in England.
Struggling for a goal and a Win.
Many of us have been here before supporting our club.
If you don't like it don't go and stop posting.
As others have said there are loads of bigger clubs than us below us.
Plus Spurs and Everton have been trying for many years to win something.
Sakho and Wilf to come back plus Roy needs to play Luka we will be fine.

Pay £430 odd pound for a season ticket and with a home record of 18 wins, 8 draws and 34 losses. Where's the value. The last time we scored a prem goal was 3 managers ago.

2 managers ago. Like walking on 2 paving slabs.

Frank is one manager ago, not two. So Sam is 2, not 3. Yes, no?

nah Willo being young isn't an excuse for these f***ing morons. They are either new fans only supporting us as we are in the prem or morons one of the two.

Only an enormous tool would go onto a football fans forum and expect everyone to agree with his opinion.

Surely it's those that believe that their opinion is the only one that matters who are the morons

Where's the infrastructure, the academy trains at goals, the gutter leaks in the homesdale, the slowness of medicals and transfer at the club. Our scouting network is woeful. Unless the players play outside England we are absolutely clueless. Look at the signings Southampton made compared to ours gabbini , soares, lemina. We have spend money but we overpaid for players like Schlupp, PVA and a few others. Regards the season do you feel value for money, while you don't pay to see wins. As a minimum you expect a better return than what we're given.

I think Palace have come on a long way since the last administration. It takes time to build infrastructure, Southampton have had a bit of a head start. Land in London is scarse and expensive. The premier league money doesn't guarantee anything, we still have to abide by regulations and the council dictates.

The academy trains at goals, so what!?? The pitches are fine, it's hardly slumming it. Every manager that has recently joined has spoken highly of the facilities.

I agree, I don't feel like I have value for money, but football doesn't work like that. Some of the worst times in Palace's history have brought on the best feelings.

When you compare Parish to previous chairmen you soon realise that we now have more structure and are working towards better things.

I'm not happy with the transfer window as I feel we didn't focus on priority positions. The window is shut now, we have to focus on the upcoming games and see if we can scrape a few draws and build on that. Calling for the chairman's head is frankly ridiculous, put the energy in to something else like supporting the team.

I'm not Parish's biggest fan but I understand that it's a difficult position.

Your right this is a results based game, and i'd say he's done an unreal job. A promotion to the prem, and kept us in it for 5 years. Guy deserves a statue.

TBH I don't really care about being in the premier league too tough!

All the premier league means for me is more media coverage and frankly that's unwanted given we are a terrible joke of a football club currently.

Others may disagree and that is fair enough but I would rather be championship or league one and actually look forward to Saturday as opposed to now actually being turned off football completely (despite the season ticket) & feeling embarrassed and ashamed constantly.

We have gone backwards the last 2 years and whilst I recognise relegation could have devastating consequences I would welcome it were it to mean the people running the club could have a crack at doing it constructively and the playing staff could become my idols again.

If we do get relegated it's deserved from the overall bad management but all is not lost just yet!

God I miss Michael Hughes

COYP!!

If we get to league 1 you won't like it and neither will thousands of fans leaving us with sub 10,000 crowds, no edge, not a great academy, and stuck there. So please, don't talk sh1t. Thank you.

Please explain parish last week stating that his the best chairman. The bloke a liability. Happy to gloat in glory with Wilf new contract and the signing of Sakho but now we can't critique because of the past do me a favour. Worse start by any club to a premier league season, no goals, no points. That's all irreverent because parish was part of a 4 fan group. Whether you were old enough or there to see Palace in the old division 3. What does that make a difference in our current plight. He was the one that appointed FDB , even when a more progressive style under pardew didn't work. So in a steve parish fantasy world decided to take 6 weeks to appoint a manager that doesn't suit the players we have. Instead of buying Stella signings in the last 2 years in Benteke and Sakho. Money would be better spent improving the whole squad. Rather than signing this players for parish ego. He's run the club on a chance for a few years since pulis left, constantly butting in buying players to pease supporters than the manager he employs.
