I am not sure anyone would expect you to give him a 'grilling' but they would expect him to get one if he went on Talksport and spoke to Adrian Durham. It is the choice of mouthpiece. You are a Palace related show and only an idiot would go out of their way to upset the owner of the entity they are following. Hol Radio is a platform for him to speak directly to the fans and get his point across without fear of an ambush. Some people would like him to be provoked into saying something unrehearsed or off message but I don't think that is your job. I don't think this thread is criticising you. That's a good point and one which I perhaps hadn't thought of exactly. Nevertheless there is direct criticism of us in general and I can't really get a proper answer as to what exactly people want and why a "grilling" is the way to get it

Think all these players were handed their debuts by Charlton when they were in the lower divisions not in the rarefied atmosphere of the PL. If we go down (God forbid) maybe some of our promising youngsters might get a run in the team !

Why didn't we get lookman or Gomez through our academy. That's more my question, rather than the league they develop in.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

I suppose that it's typical HOL that I get blasted by some for not criticising the chairman over the sacking of de Boer and by you for running down our chairman all the time. It's perfectly legitimate to question the way the club is run as that does, like it or not, effect the way we play on the pitch. Roy may or may not be able to turn it around, and I'm all for giving him a chance to do so, but that doesn't exonerate Parish entirely from some of the responsibility for our current position.
