This happened right in front of us. The poor guy was slumped in his seat and had stopped breathing. Some fans literally carried him out of row 3 of the gallery and laid him in the walkway. St John's turned up and immediately started CPR on him. Then paramedics arrived and had the difibrillator ready. Even the Palace doctor sprinted around from the dug out to help. It must have taken over 30 minutes but they got him breathing again. Hope he makes a full recovery.

I wonder how many schools and workplaces have defibrillators with trained staff available throughout all working hours. First aid emergencies are, after all, not planned.

Sounds like an Agatha Christie novel.

Most defibrillators these days will automatically guide you through the process so you wont need training

What a pr1ck you are. A man's life potentially hangs in the balance and you come out with that.

Sounds like an Agatha Christie novel.

You are absolutely right but wouldn't you ant the practice all the same before having to try it out in an emergency? Would you also know where you find it within a minute etc? Such moments require split-second decisions.

This is true, we have one at work and have been told they can't be used in correctly ie someone with a pulse it wont work.

That being said i'd imagine the paramedics still had plenty to do other than just use the defibrillator.

For God sake what is it with the pathetic point scoring on here!
The guy stated a fact. It is his job to know how to administer CPR. How in Gods name does that make him a poor excuse for a human.
Trying to make yourself appear compassionate and everyone else crass? Joke

It's very clear to most who the knob sack is. Doesn't long on here to work out.
