Looks like swift action taken over whatever it is.

I see Priti's vacated.

Are this government being deliberately s***e so they are replaced before the Brexit s***storm therefore absolving themselves of blame on a final deal. Or are they just s***e anyway?

Know i actually agree with you this government is totally s***e...... but i do think they will sort themselves out eventually.
But at least the 2 that have resigned did just that....your lot are not known for that.

I don't think Patel had much choice.Setting up meetings with foreign officials independently is tantamount to spying. Well according to some Tory MP on radio 5 earlier.

s***e is a relative term.

I'd rather have the country run by alien lizard creatures than Jeremy Corbyn's communist party. At least it would keep the rodent population down.

A mate of mine said the other day that it reminded him of 95-97. A government in decay, with scandal after scandal, on the cusp of getting a tonking.

I know you should never presume anything in politics, but at the moment it looks like, by 2020, we'll have Socialists in Downing Street and the White House. Two men who will be unprecedented in their country's history, at a moment when wealth inequality has just reached its highest point in modern human history!

If punk ever happened I'd be preaching the law, instead of listenin to Lydon lecture BBC4

Agree all round.

Maybe there needs to be a section for politics which is moderated by someone who is as politically neutral as possible with General Talk separate.

The use of the site to promote obviously partisan propaganda is getting really tedious and is the primary cause of friction between posters. A more niche environment for the politically minded might encourage the less outspoken back to a new more peaceful General Talk.

Oh! I'm really offended.

I have never mentioned alien lizard creatures before.

Sigh. No. It's just a deliberate, coordinated attempt to destabilise the government, from both sides of the political divide.

Enjoy slurping all the bad news without questioning why it's all ramped up so considerably. Yeah, that's right. The "Tory cunds" are just inept and useless, right? Brexit s***. Brexit s***storm. Just s***e anyway. The very epitome of tedium and gullibility.

Meanwhile - I'd love to see the left-wing outrage were a Labour Asian female MP were piled on in the way Patel has been recently. The stuff I've read from your oh-so-liberal komrades has been disgusting. Maybe she should just claim she caught diabetes, and all will be forgiven?

Yep, I've heard the idea that it's all an elaborate plot to derail Brexit. Would they have the nous to come up with such a plan.

Lets get May and co out, bring in Corbyn and have a Labour brexit. That'd be my ideal outcome.
