I imagine he has quite a collection of 12 inchers.

I remember Slowdive. I didn't have any of there stuff but I'm fairly certain I saw them live once (possibly supporting the house of love??)

Slowdive reformed and released a brilliant album this year.

Well worth a listen if you were unaware.

Tried to listen to Radiohead as people tell me how good they are, 'they will grow on you'... no they won't.

One of the most perfect albums ever. The rest of their catalogue after Dogmanstar I think is ok, and about half of Dogmanstar is on a par with Suede; but that first album, is a perfect 10.

Great choices. The Nymphs apparently have reformed - By all accounts their live shows were magnificent (I think the lead singer blew her boyfriend on stage at least once).

But beyond that, its a fantastic album, and Imitating Angels is a gem.

I'm a big Luke Haines fan - The Auteurs, Black Box Recorder, Baader-Meinhoff and solo - the man for me is a fantastic songwriter and musician, who is under appreciated.
