Regards Benteke, we all know what he is capable of so it is infuriating when he is so below par.When his hold up play is poor, when he doesn't win headers etc etc he attracts criticism but I would think many supporters wouldn't wish to see him at 'Selhurst Park' in an opposition shirt.Maybe a change of club would benefit him - and us !

The hatred for Benteke is quite appalling. Last week we clearly missed his prescence against Swansea and this week, because we lost to the worst team in the division who have absolutely no star players and an appalling record against the mighty Palace, it's his fault. They are better than us. They outplayed us. They do things we can only dream of. Wilshere was superb, but hey lets slag the striker. We created one real chance all night from open play, that's every player. Credit the team, they battled like f*** and gave themselves a chance, but we weren't good enough. Luka gave away possession, numerous times, like many did. Wilf lost the ball many times, like many did. RLC was anonymous for large chunks of the game and blew his two great moments (no one mentions his end product). Schlupp is a liability going forward, it's like he loses all coordination. I'm not wanting to blame anyone for losing to a team like Arsenal, but the team lost it, not one player. Thing is on Sunday we will be even more negative and I wonder which player will be the scapegoat. Hmmmm let me think now? The hatred for Benteke is quite appalling. Last week we clearly missed his prescence against Swansea and this week, because we lost to the worst team in the division who have absolutely no star players and an appalling record against the mighty Palace, it's his fault.
They are better than us. They outplayed us. They do things we can only dream of. Wilshere was superb, but hey lets slag the striker. We created one real chance all night from open play, that's every player.
Credit the team, they battled like f*** and gave themselves a chance, but we weren't good enough.
Luka gave away possession, numerous times, like many did. Wilf lost the ball many times, like many did. RLC was anonymous for large chunks of the game and blew his two great moments (no one mentions his end product). Schlupp is a liability going forward, it's like he loses all coordination. I'm not wanting to blame anyone for losing to a team like Arsenal, but the team lost it, not one player.
Thing is on Sunday we will be even more negative and I wonder which player will be the scapegoat. Hmmmm let me think now?

Benteke has been poor for most of the season and as you say, we would still get £25-30M for him because that’s the market. How much would we need for a significant upgrade?! It’s not going to happen. If Benteke goes anywhere else, he will score goals because they will cross the ball. He will get his confidence back and everyone will be moaning because the player(s) we signed for £17+ million (with no premier league experience) turned out to be crap. True but I’m sure there are plenty of teams in that position.

Agreed, last night i was thinking benny boy was winning every header that speroni kicked, some nice knock ons from them to, it seems people love to vent there disappointment on not picking up a draw/win, and tekkers is the easiest target, then its a toss up between the two goalies, if benny had done loftus cheeks shot that was nearer the hf than the goal, he would have got lambasted, yeah, he didnt have a great game shot wise last night, but was going for all the hoof ups from jules, and winning them!
