Doncaster, Mansfield, Peterborough, Notts County or Stevenage as they are closest to me.

Do you own the county of Rutland?

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Fleetwood Town away would suit me just fine.

I remember doing a trip to Mansfield in the seventies. Only significant town in the country without it's own railway station in those days (I don't know if that's still the case). A huge line of double-decker buses ferried the Palace contingent to the stadium, stopping en route for a mass pee by the side of the road. Palace fans numbers were hugely boosted by the trip only being £1 to compensate for the fiasco of the trains to Sunderland which were hugely delayed. Mansfield supporters possibly still think we are the best away supported team in the league.
Happy days.

Dover away the other year was perfect as it’s my home town. Still got the half and half scarf up!

MK or Luton away would be good now, as my nearest teams. Won’t be buying any other half and half scarfs though!!

Dover was spot on, just the sort of draw I wanted, especially as I'm only half hour away.

I've been to MK, lovely ground, padded seats, leg room, easy to get too, even for those who don't live down the road like you, so that would be a decent draw.

Definitely NOT Mansfield.

I recall a previous FA CUP encounter when we lost an away replay 7-0.

The replay was achieved when our star forward, Ronnie Allen, tucked home a last-minute penalty.

The Selhurst pitch was a muddy quagmire - not a blade of grass to be seen.
