Fundamentalist muslims are a problem, yes. Same as any one whose belief system lies to the extreme of anything. Tommy will also appreciate that the vast majority of muslims are respectful, peaceful individuals then. You appreciate by specifically focusing on one issue only this does make him look a bit, y'know, racist. Try insulting the Quran to muslims.

Most Muslims I know and went to uni/played football/have worked with don’t mind a bit of gentle ribbing about their religion, but I guess that’s a generation that have been used to multiculturalism. It’s the older generation that takes things too seriously/are more illiberal and more precious over their beliefs. Not just Muslims either.

Their religion is their identity and way of life for all of them. No choices, it just is. How pointless and a waste to us, yet so dangerous and challenging to our future way of life at the same time. They’re all mad.

Try insulting the Quran to muslims. Blaspheming in respect of the Christian faith is routine. Even the Eurovision Song Contest hosts shrieked a series of "Oh my God" or "Jesus", however none of them would have dared to exclaim, "Oh Allah" or "Oh Mohammed". No-one on the meejah would dare to.

I've grown up with and lived with, studied with and worked with muslims and people from all different nationalities, religions and backgrounds since a young age. It doesn't bother me. I like experiencing a mix of cultures. It would be boring if we were all the same. have you ? have you ever lived in a town that has been colonised ? and anyway... lots of diversity in Luton/Oldham/blackburn etc.... red, blue, and yellow hijabs. great linguistic diversity, accents from North, South and East pakistan. Some of the imported Brides even understand basic English, wow ! great food diversity...Sunni and Shi'ite Halal food both on offer.
