Never really enjoy Christmas Day. Even if no particular
dramas the day always seems too frantic and something to be got through rather than enjoyed. Prefer Boxing Day less pressured, stressed, more far more relaxed.
Better still today-all done and dusted for another year!

I enjoy xmas and boxing day, but the whole affair can be very frantic and part of me is pleased to get back into the usual routine. That's what happens when you stuck in your ways!

However, re; Christmas,
stopped enjoying the day many years ago.
Love Boxing day though, footy on, have a buffet etc, music in evening & bevvy.
best day.
rarely go out - too many amateur drinkers this time of year

Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.
