When you say that we should swap him for an asset selling chairman do you mean the sort that would sell his best players like Zaha, Bolasie, Murray and Jedinak by chance?

yes but it took the virtually the whole of the close season to select him, so it was his selection anyway!

Zaha got the move he earned, no chairman could have denyied him that.. silly.

Murray and Jedi were no where near our best players when sold.. silly.

Bolasie? quality player, sold for a kings ransom... possibly the only one on the list where yes we sold a top player getting to his peak.

Thats one player we could argue we could and should have kept.

ONE!

Go ask Swansea how many Bolasies have been sold...

No your probably right, lets swap our chairman and we'd still have all four... right ?

There is a huge difference between appreciating what Steve Parish has done for us and serving as a hand maiden at his altar.

Kermit made an amusing and reasonably accurate comment (but primarily amusing) to which Chief Hand Maiden Goldfiinger got his knickers in a right old twist just like he does whenever anyone dares to criticize Mr P

I reckon if some fans were asked by Steve P to wipe his arse they would fall down and cry North Korean stylee with, happiness, gratitude and delight.

Knickers in a twist... don't think so..

Not even sure I said we should appreciate what he's done, let alone acted as a hand maiden.

What I did say is would another chairman and take your pick from any the bottom half teams. Have been any better?

That's all....

That makes me a hand maiden?

Think you're making yourself look more and more silly mate.

Parish has made mistakes I'll say it again, I'll also say again we could be heck of a lot worse off....

If that's North Korean arse wiping then so be it...

He has already made three great choices: Pulis, Sam and now Roy. He also acted fast to correct his mistakes: FDB and Pardew. We are in great hands with him, even allowing for his comparative inexperience, and we are lucky to have a home-grown owner who cares about the club. The owners of Arsenal and Man Utd are at war with the supporters. Other teams benefit from untold riches, such as Citeh and Chelsea, but do we really want to go that route?

Agreed.

I’ve come to the conclusion that Goldfiinger is in fact Steve Parish himself posting in disguise. Everything Goldfiinger writes makes sense to me, it’s almost as if Steve needs to defend himself on here against some of the most pointless, nonsensical and sometimes (tbh) unfair criticism.

Well Done Mr Parish, great to see you on here and keep up the fantastic work you are doing to consolidate us as a regular Premier League team whom opposing teams admire for our resolve, tenacity and fighting spirit and whom opposing fans envy for our never say die fan support, amazing atmosphere and raucous noise.

Just a friendly reminder to us all of where we are in comparison to where we’ve been. Thanks Steve & Co.

Pardew proved a good appointment in the first instance but was given too long once things had gone on the slide. We’d have been relegated 2nd season if SP hadn’t sacked Warnock Boxing Day 2014.

Also worth remembering that there was a lot of speculation that Pulis didn’t want Wilf.
