If it doesn't go through in my view there is no claim. We get him for nothing so there is no financial loss ie basis of claim. If we were to be relegated then trying to claim that financial loss would be too difficult as proving on the balance of probabilities one is a direct consequence of other is unlikely

I come here to find out the latest in the Guaita transfer saga and once again have to scroll through pages and pages of Willo winding people up and vice versa. I think Willo should have his own section where all his posts are located, then we can decide whether we want to take part in it or not.

According to Guillem ballague it’s getafe who hold the key to this apparently if they go for the £4 million and sell him now they only get £1 million of it so basically they will probably hold onto a top gk till the summer and lose a cool million , nothing in this day and age to a football team but by the sounds of it he’ll be a palace player either way by June Edited by Bullhorn76 (26 Jan 2018 3.07pm)

So if I were a betting man (which I’m not) I would wager 10:1 that Guaita arrives before the end of January! It may mean paying more than the €4 or even the full amount. It would be worth it to have a third gk in place, and by all accounts a pretty good one...

Hodgson himself said we were short of keepers at senior level adding that some PL teams have 3 or 4 to call on. For instance, Burnley have Heaton,Pope,Lindegaard and Legzdins, Bournemouth have Begovic,Boruc,Federici and Ramsdale, Huddersfield have Lossl,Green and Coleman etc etc etc.

I was replying to Jimmy as you would see by reading the post I quoted and not in an accusatory way either. Willo mis-read it as if I was replying to him, in reality it was because I didn't see that he'd already mentioned it to Jimmy.
