I certainly don't believe everything I read, especially anything in that rag. However, if we believe nothing that has been printed during the window, are we to think that we haven't approached or made any offers for any strikers? That would be even more unbelievable and worrying than us having been knocked back by all of our targets, given our obvious need for a striker. Whichever way you dress it up, something in our transfer strategy is very wrong and this isn't a new problem

I put it down to the fact that we are trying to stretch ourselves. Thus, we spend the window chasing players that will take us forward, without the means to pay over the top amounts that might be required to prise them away. We then have to scratch around for players at the end of the window.

I don't think it is realistic to believe that we have actually been in for every player that we are linked to. It is not realistic to think that we have done nothing. It is (hopefully) lining up to be a busy day.

Now we have lost Sako, I guess that we need more reinforcements than before. I am hopeful for two strikers and Amadou - if we have a goalkeeper lined up for the summer then we can stick with what we have there for the remainder of the season.

Swansea's last two results are a shame, but I still think 36 points will be enough - wins against Huddersfield, Brighton and Newcastle will get us almost there.

Can't argue. Yet again its the last day of the window. This Jan window is just a pain in the ass

Anyone know about this one?

NO, Just heard it as well, wondering now who we are looking at instead? Don't see us paying the fee for Guiata today with our injuries/pressing need for strikers.
