We were unlucky against Spurs. We were unlucky against Man U. We will be unlucky against Chelsea and most likely we will be unlucky against Huddersfield. Some think it’s all over and they may be right. Me, I hope we can stop giving away stupid goals and take at least some of the chances we are creating. Keep believing we can get that 17th place.

Nobody really expects us to get anything from the Chelsea game. If however we then lose to Huddersfield I have the feeling that those who have been cautiously optimistic about our survival chances will probably join the 'Pessimistic Club' of which I have been a member for some time !

True. Lose to Huddersfield and it really all could fall apart. BUT we have to take something from that performance last night. With Wilf and Sakho back we are definitely still in this. Fingers crossed we get some games out of RLC too. I too have been pessimistic about our chances of late but was not expecting the performance last night albeit with the same end result. The boys gave it everything. They are physically knackered. Could Roy be doing more to help this?

Prior to this prolonged stay in the Premiership,we were always known as a yo - yo club and if we go down this season,surely only a matter of time before we bounce straight back ala Dowie " bounceability"!! Palace,always entertaining along the way.
