Benteke letting the ball run out just before 3rd goal typified his lack of effort. We had 2 strikers on and neither could hold the ball up, although Sorloth gave a better performance than Benteke. Had we of bought a decent striker Benteke would be subbed, if he made the team at all.

First goal was sloppy, didnt do much wrong with the other 2, so proud of us tonight. Whinge if you want but as far as im concerned I saw the artitude if a team that will stay up.
Our right back was outstanding, Sorloth was great and we couldnt have asked much more from Benteke. We conceded 3 goals to a world 11, we all had this one down as a loss before the game and we lost.
After our performances to Man Utd and Spurs, we should fear nobody...

I am beyond gutted but in my opinion it matters not a jot how well you play in patches or for 45 minutes. It's a 90 minute game and we fudged it. We basically said to them, 'We've scored our two goals, now it's your turn to try'. As someone else has said, other lower league teams have managed to hold their nerve against the big boys and our continual failure to do is now beginning to bite. We are far from down, but we don't have much wiggle room left. Just gotta hope that Stoke, Huddersfield and the Toon flop over the next 8 or 9 games because none of the others bar W. Brom will go down.

Here we go again...now my family will avoid me for 24 hours...I’ll be fuming at work tomorrow....and have to listen to smug supporters tell me how Palace should have won..
