Waking up this morning at 4am in Otago, watching Gillette soccer Saturday was a great tonic for my Autumn cold, well done Roy and team such an important win at the right time, let's hope that continues as there are points we should get from the games ahead!

A good day topped off by watching weed getting knocked out of the cup.

Why do they keep singing about Algernon?

It goes to show that a long awaited win and a massive 3 points. There's no hostility tonight on the HOL. WELL DONE ROY AND THE SAME TO THE LADS. Let's kick on and hopefully more to come.

Isn't Algernon the elephant friend of Rupert Bear?

If I remember correctly from 60-odd years ago.

I think you're right. He must be one of their top boys

Made me laugh anyway.

I went with Huddersfield Family and they laughed at that as well - apparently a Batley Lass does go down well!

That result will define our season, much deserved and 2 nil wasn’t a true reflection of the game. I am not sure they had a shot on goal in the full 90 minutes....

Huddersfield aren’t a good side to watch, how they beat Man Utd is a mystery to me, but they have been found out now. They are heading towards the trap door faster than anyone....

Also, it was Dawson giving away a free kick just outside the box that led to Bournemouth scoring the winner against W Brom.

Wayne Hennessy really performed in this one, just as he has done recently.
He made the saves he made look easy which in the conditions they were not.
Well done Wayne keep this up and we will be safe.
