You do realise that Wilf himself is one of these "wrong" people, right? So are quite a few of our other players. Another completely gratuitous and off-topic anti-Christian sideswipe. Thoroughly disrespectful and disgusting. Not even relevant to what we were discussing. I thought these fora were welcoming to all Palace fans of whatever sex, orientation, race, creed, age and class and that we were all in this to enjoy football and celebrating our team together. Seems I was wrong about that. If you must do this horrible thing to satisfy whatever need you have that drives it, at least have the decency to do it in General Talk.

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

This to me is the factor that might just cause us to lose Wilf just now (not that I want to). Chelsea look like they might lose not only Hazard but also Courtouis. William has agreed a new deal. But they are desperate and may splash the cash they get for their stellar leavers on a GK (probably Butland) & Wilf & others. This puts us in the driving seat. With so little time left to recruit replacements even £100m cash wouldn't be acceptable. So we're talking exchange plus cash. I'd look for L-C, Abraham & Drinkwater plus cash. If they're not prepared to give us such a deal it's no deal. They're desperate. We're not. Otherwise Wilf stays which is my preference anyway. I doubt if the new Chelsea manager has seen Wilf play live, and if he goes along with his Board's wishes by making a bid then Chelsea will not be "his team". I think he has bigger things on his plate at the moment - keeping Hazzard and Willian for a start. I think the mid-season window is much more likely.
