He stated he should be playing in the Champions League so won't just go anywhere unless it's a club that can guarantee that. So Man C, Arsenal, Man U, Spurs, L'pool or Chelsea
then if wnts to stay in England. Spurs will probably offer £20 million, maybe Chelsea might want him but not the others. We shouldn't even consider any bids below 70 million..

So Wilf has come out and denied it then?

No. But for me saying "I want to leave Crystal Palace" and "I'd like to play in the champions league" are two very different things...albeit they'd have the same outcome. I just feel the second is hardly disrespecting the club. Of course you may think the opposite.

Given the choice I'd rather we had players who have the ambition and talent of playing at the highest level than not. Sakho stated something very similar to Wilf earlier in the season and I've no problem with that either. It'd change if either started to upset the changing room but I think they're far too professional and respectful of that.

Personally I don’t see it like that at all. This is exactly how he would carry on if he wanted to force a move. Focusing on ambition and realising potential as the catalyst for his move. It’s how football works. These are hard quotes this time, difficult to misinterpret.

No it ain't. You honestly believe this is a "come and get me" plea? Is it bollox. Top players get tapped up behind closed doors like Cashley Hole.

The Peter Odenwinge approach didn't even work for him, let alone Zaha.

He gets a pay rise every summer under the threat of moving. None of the top six are in for him:

1) City- ample cover, can buy anyone if they want to strengthen.
2) United. Bridges well and truly burned
3) Chelski- transfer embargo
4) Liverpool- Ample cover with Chamberpot still to come back
5) Spurs- Ain't gonna spend 50m
6) Arsenal- maybe, although they run a very tight ship and aren't likely to be impressed with this interview.

He'll most likely be staying then as I doubt we'll get any bids at or above that.

If Salah goes this could be a possibility.

It's just over a week since he's supposed to have declared he was happy at Palace & his future was here, bit of a change of heart if true. Just read he's quoted as saying Man U tried to break him, doubt he'd be heading back there then if all this is true. Reckon it's no more than an eager journo' getting a few minutes chat & embellishing it with glitter to blow it all up.

Like most don’t begrudge him the move if he wants it, he’s been a privilege to watch. Best player I’ve seen at palace in any shirt. The timing and the manner I don’t like so much since we’re not safe. This is a double page spread with a clear agenda, probably engineered by him and agent and interested club(s) to basically get the price down and get a deal. It has Levy’s fingerprints all over it.
