Maybe instead of singing ďheís just too good for youĒ surely it must have occurred to our supporters that the song could be ďheís just too good for usĒ.
It feels to me that his transfer request was made in desperation after a summer of doors being slammed to stop him bettering himself.
The only loyalty in football is that held by the fans. Everyone else has a price whether that be for personal improvement or a bigger pay cheque.

Seriously, please don't boo him today - no one's asking you to sing his name, but booing him will create a toxic atmosphere which won't do anyone any good.

For sure handing in a transfer request with one day of the window left was a poor move from him, but let's not let that overshadow the loyalty he's shown to us over the past 2-3 years.

Let's just focus on getting 3 points today, no matter who lines up for us.

He will play, we aren't blessed with an abundance of match winners and strikers scoring.

Not playing him would only move the issue to the next game, play him and move on.

A senior manager at the club who I know says he wonít be playing today. He is normally right with his info so I think you will see Ayew playing in Wilfs position. Happy to be proved wrong however.

I think in the circumstances, with feelings running high, it might be best if he doesn't play today. Besides we are going to have to start consistently winning games without him in the side sooner or later.

If he's on it he should play, if not he should sit it out. We will get him know if he goes missing. My concern again is covering the RB spot. Before AWB we conceded too many goals down our RHS.

Itís not rocket science, as from today just watch sides attack are right back position as they will obviously know itís a weakness .

Right decision. Not worth it. We chucked this game away as we usually do anyway.

Every player now, especially in the premier, is a business. So Wilf, is no different.
As fans if we want to keep enjoying the game for the games sake, we have to put that to one side.
If Wilf keeps business off the field, there is no problem, as we can keep that little bit of make believe that makes supporting clubs and players worthwhile..
Whatever ,Wilf ,is still here, support him until he isnít.

I donít expect him to play today and for that reason I donít expect us to get any points but if he does play and he looks like heís up for it we need to get behind him and forget about everything thatís happened.

I think that Wilf not getting to Everton will be a blessing in disguise for all.
Everton was not his ideal destination but became it because of circumstance.
We will have him till January and he could help us till then to build up points.
Then transfer window opens with possibly bigger clubs coming in for him than Everton so he gets more chance of playing champions league

And Palace, get to consider how to move on without him. Including hopefully lining up new players, before he actually leaves.
