So we have 17 days of the transfer window left and we have signed 1 player - Guaita who we signed on a free and the deal done in the January window - so effectively we have signed no-one this window..!!

Either we have this under control and targets have been identified and discussions ongoing that are not being reported, or as the speculation we have no money to spend - hence the radio silence on transfer activity.

Only real comment from SP is - "we don't need players now - we need the right players" - or words to that affect..!!

Look minimum we need is another striker - Wickham injured again - jeez when ever will he be fit. Soroloth looks out of his depth at the moment. Benteke couldn't buy a goal last season..!!

Then we need someone to replace Cabaye and RLC - although I think there is a good chance he will return on loan.

Beyond that we need cover for Wilf and Andros - with Sakho having been let go.

If we don't do at least this we will be worse off than last season..!!

Beyond that we have all the chatter re Wilf - still no real firm comment from SP on the situation, if indeed there is one..

Squad looks paper thin to me, if we have injuries like last season then we are in trouble big time.

Cabaye and Sako were big earners, so we must have some money to play with as far as that goes.

Don’t disagree with anything here. Another two weeks before there is need to panic though.

RLC and Welbeck on loan and Yaya on a free would be good enough for another season in my opinion.
