I was under the impression the residents that have to move home to make way for the new stand will be relocated in an upgrade property (more sq footage, etc) AND compensated for the disruption to their lives as well as all relocation costs covered.
Before you say how would I like being forced out of my home, you are right I wouldn't but the again I didn't move to the corner of a football stadium site where the freehold covering the land keeps passing ownership and the shadow of redevelopement always being there since the stadium was built in 1924!

Aren’t these kids/underage jokes about the HF so boring and unimaginative? By all means take the piss if you don’t like them but please can we have something original.

Personally I would like it if the noisiest support with flags and banners (whether that's the current HF group or not) were directly behind the goal. I think it would improve the atmosphere even further, would encourage noise and passion across the whole lower tier as everyone would be closer to the original noise, and would possibly add to the momentum when the team attack that goal.

I would also like it if the fans currently behind the goal chose, of their own free will, to make the sacrifice of relocating to accommodate all this, because they felt it was in the best interests of the club and it's supporters to develop the atmosphere and avoid selhurst becoming yet another corporate plastic premier league venue.

What I wouldn't like is to see the current season ticket holders forced to move if the majority don't want to.

It doesn't seem unreasonable to me for the club to canvas votes from the current lower tier season ticket holders on whether they are in favour of an official singing section behind the goal, and whether they would ALL move slightly to the left or right to accommodate it.

If everyone budged over by one block (or even half a block in each direction) we could create a noisy block in the middle whilst everyone would only be moving a little bit, rather than the whole central block being rolacated to the corner. If the majority of lower tier season ticket holders voted yes, then for me it would justify overulling those who didn't want to move.

Finally, I saw what I guess might be the HF (or part of them perhaps) on their way down Wembley way before the cup final, all dressed in black, spitting abuse at whoever was in earshot from behind the safety of a police escort. Embarrassing morons. We certainly don't want to end up having special treatment for the likes of them.

And according to the post above it looks like no one was being forced to move. The block would have been open to everyone. It's about creating new singing section, not about removing 100 for 100.

Something needs to be done with block E regardless. Half the people want to stand and half want to sit. There are weekly arguments in that block which isn't good for anyone.
