It's an interesting question about whether they are out best fans or not.

Are you northern or something? Yorkshire?

I think you'll find they were there before promotion...

It was at full time.
There were about thirty of them screaming and swearing at the players
The fact that they were all dressed in black was a bit of a give away.
And when they had finished with the abuse they were laughing about what they'd done.
Absolutely pathetic behaviour.

Mapletree. I have a problem, and recognising it is half the battle. I'm booking myself into the Priory and getting help.

Thanks for your support at this difficult time. Photo opportunities will be arranged through my agent

Expat is talking about when that lad approached the tunnel and met with Delaney. Was it Sunderland?

Bicycle is referring to Holloway’s last game v Fulham.

You can’t be all bad as you like people that brine. Salt of the earth I would say.

No, I'm originally from Selhurst. Just a clumsy typist

I'd love someone to explain to me what we can expect if the Holmesdale Fanatics withdraw their support.

Hopefully, if we cut off the head of this monster, ten more groups will emerge. Maybe some of them will have understandable songs and won't have delusions of grandeur.

Real shame if they have gone.

May just be a case that as many of them will be turning 17 this year and will soon be old enough to drive that they may now be off doing other things.

I am near the front of block B , had my ticket before they started out, and still have it, they tried to push us out by saying it was their bit, but we joined in the singing, most of the songs were good, but the bit that annoyed me was people I had never seen before screaming at us to " sing up ", then they left the game early if we were losing. It's just time to start over again, stick with those of us that turn up year in year out whatever the division and result

They all stay till the end though. Or was that back in 2005-2009?

Not to mention some may find it harder to sing now their voices are breaking

We lost 2-1.

I couldn't believe how much glee they took from beating us. It was like watching the Munchkins celebrating after the Wicked Witch of the West has died.

Still you are a good man for being a top fan.

I'm in two minds about the Ultras. I do like the nergy they have injected

Thanks and apologies for not getting your humour! Yes Halifax fans acted like they had won the league. I totally agree with you regarding the Ultras, they have injected a lot of energy but they are not bigger than the club, lets hope the fans get behind the team this year, we may need it! Still off to Reading shortly. Enjoy the season

Yes it was Sunderland but it was the same game at full time that they abused the players.

Laughable that the Ultras/HF who regarded themselves as 'uber-supporters' and very much a cut above the rest in terms of supporting Palace decide to disband in a toys-out-of-the-pram hissy fit over seating issues.
