On the hol it seems that most people have decided upon either 1 side or the other. Does anyone just think that both sides are pretty rubbish and has decided to be apolitical?

no, but I agree that both sides are rubbish at the moment.

I will not be voting for Theresa May at the next election, UKIP have disintegrated so I will probably not vote. As for the left I don't care but they seem pretty rubbish as well.

I was really hoping that by now Labour and Conservatives would have split along the leave/remain lines and new parties would have been formed. With just 2 (or 3 if you're lucky) to pick from politics is boring.

I like the MP's who stand up for what they believe in rather than always tow the party line but there seems to be less and less of these as time goes on.

We really do need a new party of the centre, which is where I believe most people truly are. The core for this already exists with the right of the Labour Party and the left of the Tory Party having much more in common with each other, and the LibDems, than they do with their extreme wings. There are some unifying forces at work, primarily around the need to avoid Brexit, or at least hold a second referendum on the final terms. I am a member of More United which is trying to do this. The problem is, of course, funding. The Labour MP's are constantly threatened by "deselection" by the extreme left wingers that now control most local parties. The Tories get theirs from rich donors. This is, in my view, an abuse of democracy and we need to find a way to stop it. Those MP's in the middle need to be braver and risk their futures, to try to change the system. It's difficult but a poor Brexit might still be the trigger point. Only time will tell.

Politics is an elite club, with a strict members policy and policed by themselves. They are in it for themselves and themselves alone, bugger the rest of us. What we need is a mass no vote, oust them all and start again. What we have seen since the referendum is ineptitude on a massive scale across all parties. It amazes me that possibly the most important decision that this country has made has been based on lies.If this were Zimbabwe,Syria et Al our politicians would be crying foul about the unfairness of the results but at home they bury their heads and line their pockets. I'll still probably vote labour next time but only to give May and her cronies, hopefully, a bloody nose

Ukip's membership is up over 20 percent on the last two months.

I don't describe myself as right or left.... I judge each situation and make sure I have as much info as poss before forming a opinion. I always make my points without fear or favour...

*I think there is a problem with Islam... I don't think anyone could formulate a argument to counter that.

*I don't believe diversity is our strength... infact... I think it can be a weakness

*I believe in a unionised workforce

*I believe in a equal society... with everyone accepting responsibility for their behaviour.

*I believe (strongly) in paying tax... it's a civic duty that helps all of us.... I won't use a tradesman that offers discount for CIH work.

*I believe the NHS is a national treasure

*I believe in community... not just looking after people that are the same colour/religion as you... that's easy... I believe in looking after every fellow human.

*I believe in closing the gap between the rich n poor

*I hate celebrity culture

*I feckin hate "whataboutery"

On some issues... I'm right of centre... on others I'm left.

My nan had a saying "Good requires effort, bad doesn't." I try n live by that.

I don't see how anyone can be truly apolitical.

We all have views on everything and in some ways and for some people everything you do could be classed as a optical act. (That tube of toothpaste you bought? Don't you realise that company polluted a river in South America? etc etc. )

But some on here choose to be more vocal with their views than others. Maybe some are not apolilitical there merely choose not to engage in politics.

Is there a viable centre party in the UK? Not right now. If there is possibly Lib Dems who at least have views on key issues like Brexit when the other two main parties remain either silent or non committal.

We still in common have pretty much a two party system and in the main it works. The alternative being countries with full PR where you see either a procession of ineffective political alliances attempting to govern or very little government at all.

I don't think I'm apolitical but I like some things each party says and some things neither do.

Continually aided by a deluded (in the main) population who truly believe politics really matters despite the evidence staring them square in the face. Priceless.

Yeah but then 20 per cent of not very much isn’t exactly that difficult.
