Those in Patagonia, as with the majority of World Service users, aren't contributing to any of the costs though. Making it off the scale for costs.

In the last census only 46% of those who said they could speak were fluent, so my 300,000 is generous compared to 46% of your 500,000.

And the language is in decline.

Wikipedia says there is a modest recovery.

Must be linked to S4C. Did you see the coverage of the eisteddfod? Stirring stuff indeed.

46% of English people are hopeless with their language too.

... and those f***ing period dramas, there's your bourgeois bollocks Stirling, and Doctor Who's comeback, those two t***s who did bake off sum up the smarmy bulls*** which exemplifies the bbc - and don't confuse objectivity with cowering conformity, their science coverage is crap too, Brian Cox is a narrow minded t***, the bbc seems liberal but it is not, it's part of the establishment's efforts to keep a lid on the population, it upholds nothing, you'd be better off looking for the news yourself rather than let John Humphries serve up what looks like criticism but is actually coverage which implicitly gives credence to politicians generally.

Pretty much.

The BBC isn't about informing people about reality and being factual and objective...that's a veneer that gets ever thinner, if it even exists anymore....it's about informing people of what they want them to think.

Look at their coverage on Brexit....it's outright obvious.

They are the biased gatekeepers barring access to inconvenient truths and they hold the megaphone for neo liberalist internationalism.

Their website pushes out the most blatant cultural Marxist propaganda.

If they weren't doing it on public money I wouldn't be so narked about it.

I'd love to know how much money they would save simply by stopping Eastenders.

Getting rid of the Top Gear line up must have cost them a fortune too as that was the most sold programme worldwide, by anybody.

What do you mean? No-one buys the new multi-ethnic, educational, non risqué Top Gear? What a surprise.

is the 'heterosexual conservative white Christian/athiest British Male ( still in possession of all arms and legs)' just a figure-of-fun for the BBC ?

to be ridiculed, ignored, scoffed at ?

You missed out "middle class" a source of endless amusement for comics and sitcoms ala Terry and June and Mrs Bucket.

Yup let's all have a larf at that lot with there pretensions and social climbing, of course they are the bedrock of the country and pay the most in taxes. And the people who make those programs and are finger pointing? Yup most of them had a privileged upbringing which they like to downplay "Just call me Jim".

John Cleese as Robin Hood "Have you met the poor?" sounds like an Islington or Hampstead dinner party for Labour supporters.

I disagree as I think that James Acaster is very funny and most of the other male ones are nearly as good.

I'm not so keen on the females with the exception of Sarah Pascoe and the chubby one who's name I've forgotten

Yes, I find him funny too, he's very clever. Seems like he's rambling something inane and then manages to deliver a great punchline

Gary delaney and Milton Jones are always good value, Hugh Dennis is always on as you need an impressionist
