I had a response from Paul McGowan this evening

It simply said come and see seats in rows 1 to 6

It did not respond at all to the points I raised

I said the following:

I am not interested in seeing another seat Paul, I shall stay in my current seat and sing. I have already told you this twice but it feels like I am talking and emailing into a black hole.

This is my final response to you. Either you start talking to me or I shall find another outlet for my views.

The whole process has been a debacle. Please let me know the following, I am asking for the third time:

1. What are the terms and conditions of my season ticket, which is pre-paid for next year
2. How you intend to allocate the tickets in E Block for next season
3. What equal opportunities analysis have you undertaken.

To be clear, I wish to stay in my seat. There are multiple reasons why I consider this a reasonable request and I have no intentions of accepting an alternative solution.

Please feel free to call me

Thank you

I also copied Steve Parish and Phil Alexander, I don't know if I got their email addresses correct.

I am now deeply losing my sense of humour.

You’re right there. And people have been defending the club on this thread, questioning how I can say that CPFC, with whichever year after it, has a history of incompetence or poor service. Tickets, season tickets, kits, you name it.

blimey, never knew that, I had to google it... all those years my Dad called me a berk. If I'd had told my mum she'd have gone berserk LOL!!

You learn something everyday on here...

Berk is an idiot. Cvnt on its own is a nasty, horrible person. He may have got confused with ‘’you stupid cvnt’, thinking it’s the same as berk.

They're not tired arguments. They just seem tired because he repeats himself. The reason he finds himself having to repeat himself is that you and people like you on here wont debatte his points because you know he has some very valid and fair ones.
And like a child does when losing an argument you simply ignore his points and dismiss them as 'tired old arguments'

Puncture repair man doesn’t debate valid points. He froths at the mouth over it happening, daily. That’s been the case for weeks and adds nothing. The situation and negotiations have all moved onto other considerations.

A little off topic, I’ve always known a berk to be cockney slang for a Berkshire Hunt ... c**t.

Anyway, as you were.

It seems the meaning of the terms have changed. I’ve never known Cvnt to mean stupid. When fans had a go at Salah, ‘’They didn’t sung ‘’Salah you’re a cvnt’’ because they thought he’s stupid but they believed he was out of order and doing them over.

It has been mentioned before. That move was made to separate away fans from the most vocal home fans, and reduce the possibility of it all kicking off between the two sets ( rare, but not entirely unknown). This then meant that the internal security could be undertaken by club stewards, rather than having to pay the massive costs for policing inside the ground as well as outside.

I’ll try again........
The HF adopted block B to be next to the away fans to taunt them. They were sandwiched between the HF and the singing section of the AW. When they were moved to the other end of the AW , the AW singing section spread down towards the Homesdale.
The singing section at Selhurst was originally on the half way line in the old Park Road stand. When the AW got built a section emerged behind the goal on the Homesdale but with no cover, the noise was lost except for really big days.
Then the AW re emerged in the standing section on the halfway line. So we had two singing sections. By default, the two groups kind of merged when the away fans were moved in the AW.
The AW has always been louder because firstly it’s better covered and secondly loads more sing in there. For the Homesdale to get loud it needs the top tier to sing which happens on occasions and then it’s noisy.
The HF became like a song leader in block B which the AW seemed to follow. This season the HF spat its dummy out and vaporised.
They have literally disappeared without trace..
I see two issues moving forward. Firstly there is no guarantee that they will re emerge behind the goal. Secondly there is no certainty they will harmonise from there with the AW choir due to the distance.
And the finally there is clearly a lot of bad blood being generated which is really bad news all round.
Where the HF have gone is anyone’s guess. To be honest I am really disappointed at their approach to this and the club’s. Although I admire the noise they make I am amazed by their disappearing act.
Personally I sit in block X of the AW but hell I would be just as happy to be back in the Homesdale rather than absent.
My love of attending Selhurst is far greater than some dispute about where I am in the ground. Over the years I have watched from all parts of all sides.
I don’t have a solution to what is becoming a very messy affair, but I hope this history lesson may add some thoughts to the situation.

A rarity,a well thought out,nicely composed,intelligent post.
