That’s some of it.

He also expected to pay for this populist election policy with a magic money tree.

It was a very Naive promise, central government have pulled a £700m grant and Crossrail is £500m over budget. There was a predicted rise in ticket revenue but in reality they have fallen.

To counter this he’s accelerated the ULEZ and cut back on all surface transportation schemes. This will leave a maintenance deficit for future majors to pick up.

That's a standard Labour policy independent of type of governance.

Yep. The Torres are a mess, but at least Hunt and Boris show some political talent.

Any talent in the Labour Party is quashed by momentum.

The new leader of UKIP (I can't be bothered to learn his name as he won't be around very long) has compared Sadiq Khan to a 7/7/ bomber.

[Link]

I Khan't stand Khan (see what I did there) but to compare him to a terrorist is just plain stupid.

Bye bye UKIP it was fun until Farage left.

Yes, a silly thing to say especially for a party leader. Farage called it right on UKIP.

In fairness, comparing Khant to a terrorist isn't an unfathomable leap in logic as he did make his money defending 9/11 terrorists and won support by going on marches with future IS sympathisers in London where he shared a podium with radical clerics. A fact conveniently overlooked by MSM since his election.

Pretty sure there's a photo knocking about with him doing that index finger salute.

He said if before he was leader and was taking the p1ss.....a bad taste joke.

Khan has represented terrorists and has played the 'Islamic' representative before, especially before being major.

If Farage had said this it would be front page news across the MSM. I guess it says a lot about how far UKIP have fallen in profile and credibility that iw wasn't a bigger story.

I have a soft spot for UKIP and voted for them in European Elections but they are yesterday's man.
