Absolute crap, in every way. s***ty synthesiser, mundane, inane lyrics, turgid melody. Stealing a living as a Christmas song. Adds nothing to humanity.

They play this s*** in Guantanamo bay to extract confessions. Hell, I want to confess, just to make it stop.

Ballads have to be pretty special for me to like them.....over sentimental limp wristed dirge.....of course....I'm being a christmas grump.

I like Christmas songs generally.

What is cringeworthy are some of the videos, particularly Cliff Richard, Mistletoe and Wine and that atrocious Lords Prayer thing.
The sight of East17 with ridiculous trousers and silly hand gestures always makes me grin.

It's true that the McCartney offering is particularly excrescent but I can't help thinking that it's deliberate.

I loathe the Mariah Carey song with an all-consuming passion, to say nothing of everything by St Cliff of Elm House.

It's a pity Gary Gliter's Rock and Roll Christmas has been edited out as I thought it was quite good.
