Liverpool - robbed of a point
Great game yesterday and frustrating that I clearly saw the handball on the 4th goal from our away end!

Watford - robbed of a point when Ref missed a clear handball from Luka's shot. Keeper going the wrong way!

Brighton - we were terrible but Ref gave a pen when Macca cleanly got the ball. They would have been down to 10 men following the Murray dive headbutt. Robbed of a point.

Chelsea - Ref missed Morata offside and a clear foul on Sakho for the second. Robbed of a point.

Arsenal - Ref missed clear handball Lacazette. Robbed of 2 points.

Watford - Capoue raked zaha and Ref didn't send him off. Robbed of a point.

Liverpool - 2 dives by Salah. Robbed of a point.

Swings and roundabouts I know like Fulham not getting a clear Pen after Sakho's tackle and those games above we wouldn't close out but it is really annoying that it keeps happenning to us.

Refs continue to cost us points

You’re very selective, we’ve also had decision in our favour which you haven’t mention. You need to take the rough with the smooth and they tend to even themselves out.

Not sticking it in the net is what we should worry about

Looked at BBC Sport this morning and seen at least four different stories all w***ing about the bin dippers. Nothing about them diving, cheating, assaulting Wilf or handling the ball on purpose at all.

The Andros handball is in the thread. We have had more bad ref decisions than good

Salah should have been booked and shows yet again inconsistencies with refs. Salah seems to be out of bounds as far as this is concerned.

He should have been booked yes . An undoubted talent that lets himself down regularly with his dying swan impersonations at the slightest of touches . But maybe that's the fault of the modern game that is fast becoming a non contact sport and with TV pundits who often support such penalty appeals by declaring 'contact' was made so its a definite pen . Some of us would disagree with that statement

Whatever way you look at it, it’s cheating and refs should treat everyone the same. His intention yesterday was to gain a penalty.

Hopefully the advent of VAR next season may reduce the number of errors - but I am not holding my breath.

Until then 'take the rough with the smooth' is the only way to look at it. Things usually even out over the season.

Most of the clubs in our part of the table have similar tales of woe - what about Burnley's 'winner'└against Watford yesterday? Wrongly given as offside.

You don't mention Ayew pushing Van Dijk and Matip forward so Tomkins had a free header for the goal.
Its swings and roundabouts, some you win some you lose.

If we are so unlucky have you ever wondered why we get awarded more penalties that almost any other club including the big boys and have done for several seasons?

Lower clubs always get less from referees. It's always been that way.
The variation in referees is interesting. Watching a lot of League Two football, you see how poor the referees are and their assistants too. Yesterday, at Lincoln City v Grimsby the ref was Mike Dean. Supporters expected a better standard of ref but instead he just blew for everything-8 bookings and 1 sending off in a game that wasn't that physical. He certainly blew for the slightest contact and this began to encourage diving and exaggeration by players.
I do wish video evidence was used against divers. Salah is so talented, but a disgrace to the game. Punishment is the only way to stop the cheating-just a booking when diving is spotted isn't enough.

That's why VAR is so badly needed and for FA to take retrospective action for deliberate diving (a.k.a 'cheating') e.g. ban for x 2 games. We're not the only team who should feel hard done by but there's no doubt that vital points are being lost that could be difference between staying up or being relegated.
