I think it's better the other way round with Bats and Benteke together, you need someone to hold the ball up and Ayew or Bats don't look like they can do that. Bats was better in 10 minutes than ayew was all game, the guy offers no threat at the end of the day.

Great result, and pure class from Michy Batshuayi.

Shows us doesn't it why the top six are the top six.

Just on train coming back from game, yes Ayew tries but Jesus does he lack in any sort of quality. Saw more of that in 10 mins from the batman. Sakho defo man of the match, didn't give Mitrovic a sniff.

AWB has been consistently superior to Trippier this season.

Thought we were decent today, with PVA being the exception, what’s happened to him?
The 2 up front looked good, although strange that ayew (best I’ve seen him play) was winning the headers instead of Benteke.
As always the keeper and defence looked strong.
It’s the best bench we’ve had in ages. All 3 that come on done well , refreshing to have a winger Sako that crosses the ball early and the new striker seems to shoot when possible.
Fulham offered little , but a good performance and more to come from this team.
Very happy.

I've no idea but every time I see us play he's easily the most composed, confident and assured player on the park. Getting picked for the U21s is an insult.

I know some people hate Roy's tactics, but last season it was why no one below us beat us and it's getting back to that way. Southampton barely had a sniff and we shut Fulham out. Schlupp still looked lazy tracking back, but all credit to him, going forward he seems to pop up in the right places. Ayew was a real pain in the ar*e for Fulham, constantly harassing their back four and I thought he did well without ever looking like scoring; however, Batshuayi came on and instantly reminded us what a quality striker looks like. Not a great game, but we looked solid.

Hopefully it might shut up some of the insanely negative posters for a while.

Nice.

That is clear.

It was the rather disrespectful “who?” from painter which took the discussion into a different direction.

No need for disrespect towards Wilf Zaha, a palace legend.

Interestingly, I took Painter’s “who” to be ironic and not at all disrespectful. Anyway; let’s celebrate the 3 points, especially as Bournemouth (typically) seem to be caving in against Cardiff.

My point was, we didn't miss him today, other players upped their game particularly Ayew.

We aren't a one man team.

It's not going to happen of course but time for some to recognise what Roy has achieved. We have an equal or better defensive record than two of top six. That's remarkable. Another clean sheet today.

Put it into context and look at Everton who can't defend to save their lives. Anyone up for for Silva style management?

We just got a glimpse but add a front line of Bat and Tekkers with Wilf and Andros and then we're looking great.
